Job DetailsWhat you'll be doing:
- Own multiple projects from preconstruction turnover through completion and closeout
- Manage project budgets, cost-to-complete, purchase orders, allowances, forecasting, and financial performance
- Develop and maintain project schedules, critical paths, and recovery plans
- Identify scope gaps, constructability concerns, long-lead items, and potential budget or schedule risks
- Manage change orders from identification and pricing through approval and processing
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, procurement, and owner selections
- Serve as a primary point of contact for homeowners and provide proactive project communication
- Partner with Superintendents to maintain schedule, quality, trade performance, and client expectations
- Conduct project walks, milestone reviews, and quality-control reviews
- Drive punch-list items, financial closeout, documentation, and client turnover through completion
- Maintain accurate project information within Buildertrend and other company systems
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years of residential construction project management experience
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, sequencing, plans, specifications, and building systems
- Demonstrated experience managing both project budgets and schedules
- Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors, trade partners, and vendors
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Strong client-facing communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable holding internal teams and trade partners accountable
- Proficiency with construction management software and standard business technology
Highly preferred:
- Luxury or high-end custom home construction experience
- Experience with complex architectural details and premium finishes
- Cost-plus or highly customized residential project experience
- Buildertrend or similar construction management software experience
- Experience working within a PM/Superintendent structure
- Familiarity with the Texas Hill Country construction market
