Description
We are looking for Project Manager in Philadelphia to lead public work projects across commercial and municipal / public clients. This family-owned GC has grown consistently each year and is now scaling operations to match. This is a great role for a hands-on PM who wants ownership, field presence, and the chance to improve how projects are run as the business expands
Job Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Run public work projects from start to closeout
- Visit job sites and walk projects directly with subcontractors
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors to keep crews aligned and productive
- Manage invoicing, pay applications, and cost tracking
Handle change orders, scope alignment, and subcontract management
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Construction Project Manager (public work experience strongly preferred)
- Background with commercial and municipal/public projects
- Strong subcontractor management: scheduling, coordination, and accountability
- Solid cost control skills
- Comfortable managing multiple projects in the $300K–$2M+ range
