Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Represent ownership interests throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Manage ground-up development projects, including large-scale industrial and Class A office developments.
  • Oversee tenant improvement and capital improvement projects across the portfolio.
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and third-party consultants.
  • Review budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, and project reporting.
  • Monitor construction progress and proactively mitigate project risks.
  • Lead project meetings and provide executive-level updates to ownership.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and permitting requirements.
  • Utilize technology and project management platforms to improve project execution and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies for scheduling, forecasting, risk management, cost control, document management, and operational efficiencies.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Background:

  • 10+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Experience representing an owner, developer, construction manager, or general contractor on complex commercial projects.
  • Strong track record overseeing ground-up construction projects valued at significant scale.
  • Experience managing tenant improvement projects within occupied commercial assets.
  • Knowledge of commercial office, industrial, warehouse, distribution, or mixed-use developments.
  • Technology-forward mindset with a strong understanding of construction technology platforms and AI-driven solutions impacting real estate and construction.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
