The Opportunity
We are partnering with an established, growing specialty contractor seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex renovation and building restoration projects. This hands-on role manages projects from startup through closeout, with responsibility for schedule, budget, subcontractor coordination, documentation, field execution, and client communication. You'll work closely with superintendents, subcontractors, owners, engineers, consultants, and leadership to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from mobilization through completion and closeout.
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, and cost controls.
- Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, clients, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and reporting.
- Review subcontractor proposals, invoices, and project costs.
- Monitor progress, quality, safety, and contract requirements.
- Proactively identify and resolve scope, schedule, cost, and field issues.
- Maintain strong client communication and stakeholder alignment.
- Manage punch lists, as-builts, and project closeout.
Qualifications
- Construction project management experience with projects from startup through completion.
- Restoration, renovation, structural, building-envelope, or related specialty construction experience strongly preferred, with high-rise restoration experience highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, cost control, subcontractor management, and construction documentation.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Project or comparable construction management tools.
- Construction Management degree, certification, or related education preferred.
