We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee residential construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership abilities, and a thorough understanding of project scheduling and budgeting. This role requires hands-on experience in managing construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Utilize construction management software such as BuilderTrend for effective project scheduling and tracking.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols (OSHA compliance).
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure all specifications are met.
- Manage project budgets and perform construction estimating to maintain financial accountability.
- Implement quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of workmanship.
- Provide leadership and direction to site personnel, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven 5 years of experience as a Project Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including budgeting, project scheduling, and estimating.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as BuilderTrend.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills along with the ability to interpret schematics accurately.
