    Job Title: Construction Project Manager
    Location: Lexington, KY
    Job Type: Long-Term Contract

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to support EPC Project Managers or Program Managers in overseeing projects from pre-construction through completion and warranty phases. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of construction execution, including safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, and client relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure successful project execution across one or multiple projects
    • Lead project planning, scheduling, estimating, cost development, and establishment of critical objectives
    • Manage project safety, quality, cost, and schedule in alignment with company policies and standards
    • Develop and maintain client relationships; serve as a key point of contact for project-related matters
    • Negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and change orders
    • Participate in project risk reviews and collaborate with legal as needed
    • Implement Project Execution Plans, including safety, quality, staffing, and procurement strategies
    • Develop staffing plans and coordinate multi-discipline project teams
    • Oversee site planning, mobilization, and demobilization activities
    • Ensure all permits and regulatory requirements are secured and maintained
    • Lead RFP and bidding processes, including subcontractor prequalification and selection
    • Review and present project reports including budget, forecasts, and status updates to leadership
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables
    • Manage contract administration processes including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout
    • Oversee invoicing processes for prime contracts, subcontractors, and client contractors
    • Coordinate commissioning and startup activities with project stakeholders
    • Maintain and audit project documentation and compliance requirements
    • Conduct safety, quality, financial, and progress audits
    • Manage cost reporting, scheduling, work breakdown structures, and project tracking
    • Oversee materials management including procurement, storage, and logistics
    • Lead project closeout, turnover documentation, and warranty administration
    • Support communication with governmental, regulatory, and public entities
    • Provide mentorship and performance feedback to project team members
    • Manage labor, staffing, and craft workforce planning including labor agreements and compliance
    • Track and manage project metrics including earned value, cost, and schedule performance
    • Ensure proper management of construction equipment and resources

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
      (Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
    • Minimum 7+ years of construction project management experience
    • Willingness to travel at least one week per month
    • Strong knowledge of construction processes across industries such as commercial, energy, transportation, manufacturing, or utilities preferred
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
    • Experience with project management, scheduling, cost control, and document control systems preferred
    • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
