Construction Project Manager - Commercial Hospitality
Location: Raleigh, NC
Salary: $100-140K
Are you an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager with a background in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, healthcare, or commercial interiors? Our client is an established and growing commercial general contractor seeking a Project Manager to oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a commercial general contractor.
- Recent hospitality or hotel construction experience is a must
- Experience managing commercial projects such as hotels, restaurants, medical facilities, retail, automotive, or tenant improvements.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes from preconstruction through closeout.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and change orders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion and warranty.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
- Lead subcontractor bidding, negotiations, contract administration, and procurement.
- Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Maintain regular communication with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants.
- Conduct project site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Track project costs and maintain accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with contract documents, building codes, and company quality standards.
- Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
