Description

Construction Project Manager

Manage K-12 and higher education construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts. Lead subcontractor procurement, buyout, and contract administration activities. Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, and field leadership teams. Monitor project financial performance and proactively address risks. Support schedule development and ensure milestone achievement. Oversee project reporting, cost controls, and monthly forecasting. Ensure successful project turnover, punch list completion, and closeout. Foster strong client relationships and drive repeat business opportunities.

A successful Construction Project Manager should have: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is advantageous. Experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor is required. K-12 and/or higher education construction project experience is required. Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and cost reporting. Experience with subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and change management. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with owners, architects, and project stakeholders. Experience leading multiple project phases simultaneously is an advantage. Demonstrated success delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
