Description

Our client, a growing commercial construction company, is looking for a Commercial Project Manager to join their team. This role oversees exterior and interior buildout projects from planning through completion, managing scope, schedule, and budget along the way. The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of commercial project management experience and is comfortable managing multiple smaller-scale projects.

Responsibilities:

- Manage commercial construction projects end to end, from initial planning through final walkthrough and closeout

- Build and maintain project schedules, keeping all phases of work on track toward completion dates

- Track project budgets and costs, flagging variances early and identifying ways to keep spending in line

- Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, and clients throughout each project

- Conduct routine site visits to monitor progress, workmanship, and adherence to safety standards

- Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to confirm scope and catch discrepancies before they become problems

- Troubleshoot issues that come up mid-project and adjust plans to keep work moving

- Provide regular status updates and progress reports to internal leadership and clients

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects

- Background in commercial construction required; experience with fencing and exterior construction preferred.

- Strong working knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, and construction documentation

- Comfortable traveling to job sites regularly, primarily local with occasional out-of-state travel

- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders at once.

- Associate's or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred
