Our client, a leading construction firm in Columbus OH, has immediate needs for Project Managers. These are direct hire positions. Candidates need to have experience in one of the following areas: Industrial, Healthcare, K-12, SPG, Multi-Family. 
 
Job Summary:
 
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising construction projects from start to finish. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. The Construction Project Manager acts as the key liaison between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of all project phases.
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning & Scheduling:
o Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules.
o Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives.
o Coordinate design, procurement, and construction phases.
 
• Budgeting & Cost Control:
o Prepare and manage project budgets and cost estimates.
o Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures.
o Approve invoices, change orders, and subcontractor payments.
 
• Team & Stakeholder Management:
o Lead, motivate, and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
o Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and vendors.
o Resolve conflicts and ensure strong collaboration among all stakeholders.
 
• Compliance & Quality Control:
o Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
o Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and workmanship quality.
o Implement safety protocols and maintain a zero-incident workplace culture.
 
• Risk Management:
o Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
o Anticipate and resolve issues that could delay project delivery.
 
• Reporting & Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of project progress, costs, and changes.
o Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
 
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction project management (commercial or industrial).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
