My client is a general contractor that has operated in the Greater Milwaukee area since 1967. They build all projects on a negotiated basis, primarily with repeat clients. They are looking to hire a project manager to help expand their client base and manage an existing workflow of projects. Job Description

  • Manage construction projects from preconstruction to close
  • Assure all projects are built to drawings and specification
  • Create master schedule and forecast financial performance against budget and schedule
  • Assure all materials orders are executed
  • Maintain schedule and meet deadlines
  • Work alongside and communicate with sub contractors to move projects forward
  • Ensure site superintendents maintain clean and safe sites

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Construction field - ideally 7-10 years
  • Proven track record of managing commercial remodel or ground up projects
  • Estimating experience on commercial construction projects strongly preferred
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Finance, or Business Management preferred
  • Knowledge of Procore construction management software
  • Proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
  • Proven track record of effectively and efficiently managing projects
  • Strong management ability
