Construction Project Engineer

Role: Construction Project Engineer 
Salary:$60,000 – $80,000
Location: Hooksett, NH
Duration: Permanent/ Direct Hire 

Join a growing, self-performing construction team specializing in healthcare projects where you’ll gain hands-on experience throughout every phase of construction—not just behind a desk.

As a Project Engineer, you’ll work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to help deliver complex healthcare renovations and new construction projects. This role offers a mix of office and field responsibilities with excellent opportunities for career growth into Project Management.

What You’ll Do

• Support project planning, coordination, and day-to-day construction activities.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, change orders, and project documentation.
• Assist with scheduling, material procurement, and project tracking.
• Work alongside field teams to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project plans and healthcare standards.
• Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and project closeout documentation.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–5+ years of construction experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience will be considered).
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; Procore and Bluebeam are a plus.
• * Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
