    A day in the role

    At 8:00 AM, you step onto the jobsite to verify progress, walk the work with foremen, and confirm safety measures are in full effect. By mid-morning, you are coordinating with architects and engineers to align drawings and resolve open RFIs. After lunch, you review change orders, update budgets and schedules, and prepare a concise status report for stakeholders. Late afternoon brings a vendor negotiation and a standing project meeting where you keep communication flowing across subcontractors and internal teams. You close the day ensuring every document and decision is captured for a clean project record.

    What you will do

    • Own the full project lifecycle from kick-off through closeout, delivering on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards.
    • Coordinate seamlessly with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to meet design intent and specifications.
    • Conduct regular site visits to track progress, proactively surface risks, and address field issues.
    • Prepare and present clear project updates for clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Implement site safety protocols and ensure full compliance with local regulations and codes.
    • Manage all project documentation including contracts, change orders, reports, and meeting minutes.
    • Negotiate contracts and cultivate effective vendor and subcontractor relationships.
    • Lead project meetings and keep information moving between all team members.

    What you bring

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Proven experience managing construction projects or in a closely related capacity.
    • Deep knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and industry regulations.
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency with project management software and related tools.
    • Capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
    • Strong problem-solving mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
    • PMP or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
