Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the construction projects and ensure they progress on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate is an expert in building methods and has a proven track record of successful construction management projects. This is a 1099 position. 
Responsibilities
  • 1. Fill out, send, and oversee the completion of subcontractor agreements via docu-sign
  • 2. Maintain a record of subcontractor financials to ensure accuracy with payments each week
  • 3. Fill out, print, and deliver the needed forms prior to the start of a job
  • a. Job Start form – to be uploaded to JP
  • b. Permit – Needs to be on job site
  • c. Stamped plans – Needs to be on job site
  • d. Permit Inspection Card  - Needs to be on job site
  • 4. Maintain a record of the job financials to make sure project stays within budget
  • 5. Obtain estimates for subcontractors as needed
  • a. Sending plans via email
  • b. Scheduling a walk-through if needed with the PM
  • 6. Schedule and coordinate subcontractors as needed per PM request
  • 7. Ensure inspections have been scheduled and request results if not posted
  • 8. Be present for inspections if needed
  • 9. Obtain estimates as needed for rough materials or materials not provided by the client  if requested by the PM such as:
  • a. Windows and Doors (Coordinate with the client on what the prefer )
  • - Obtain the window and door schedule from the plans
  • b. Lumber
  • c. Steel 
  • 10. Assist with follow up with client once proposal has been sent to help close the sale
  • 11. Assist in overseeing the ordering of materials to ensure they have been placed and obtain the ETA. 
  • 12. Help to find additional subcontractors as needed
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of construction methods, building products, and building processes
  • Strong ability to work independently
  • Familiar with and construction management software
  • Ability to break large projects into small stepsWilling to train the right candidate 
Compensation: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
