Construction Power Equipment Diagnostics Technician

Picture your first hour at our Corona, CA Service Center: a contractor drops off a floor grinder, a rental partner calls about a finicky dust collector, and a sales colleague stops by with a question about a light compactor. You roll up your sleeves, triage each case, and set a plan—evaluate, diagnose, repair, test—so customers can get back to work fast.

What you'll work on

• Hands-on evaluation, troubleshooting, and repair of electric, battery, and gas-powered construction tools.
• Specialized focus on medium-to-large floor grinders, dust collectors, power trowels, and light compaction equipment.
• Processing customer repair jobs from intake through completion and documentation.
• Reworking or modifying in-stock equipment to company specifications.
• Collaborating daily with customers, field sales, and our Technical Services teammates.

What you bring

• Five or more years in assembly, service, and/or fabrication preferred; advanced training or education is a plus (not required).
• Comfort with basic PC tasks for lookups, documentation, and communication.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and sound judgment.
• Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic blueprints/schematics (preferred).
• Physical capability to grasp, power grip, pinch, and twist/turn with body/hands; carry 75 lbs up/down/overhead; push; climb up/over/under; reach around/under/over/above shoulder height.
• Entry-level candidates with clear mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn will be considered.

Compensation

The anticipated hourly rate for candidates who will work in California is $22.00 - $28.00 per hour commensurate with experience. Husqvarna is a multi-state employer, and this range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
