About the Role
Red Leaf Developments is seeking an experienced Construction Office Manager to oversee administrative operations, support executive leadership, and manage key business processes that support our growing construction company.
This role serves as a trusted partner to the CEO and works closely with internal teams, employees, vendors, and external partners. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, proactive professional with strong business judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
The successful candidate will help improve operational efficiency, maintain compliance, support employees, and ensure Red Leaf's administrative systems continue to support company growth.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Business Operations
- Lead and manage the administrative team, including accounting support, facilities, fleet, and warranty functions
- Support business operations, internal processes, and administrative systems
- Coordinate tax preparation and reporting activities with the CEO and external CPA
- Support company compliance efforts related to legal, insurance, licensing, and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate records and documentation across business operations
Executive Support
- Serve as a key administrative partner to the CEO
- Prepare and communicate company-wide announcements and organizational updates
- Coordinate and manage high-priority projects and initiatives
- Handle confidential financial, employee, and strategic company information with professionalism and discretion
Human Resources & Employee Operations
- Manage workers' compensation claims, audits, and related reporting
- Coordinate employee health benefits administration and annual open enrollment
- Manage the company 401(k) plan in partnership with the CEO
- Support employee hiring, onboarding, and performance management processes
- Oversee employee safety program administration and compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in business operations, administration, finance, or a related field
- Experience managing administrative processes and internal business systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and database systems
- Strong alignment with Red Leaf Developments' Core Values
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the construction industry or a construction-related business environment
- Knowledge of construction financial operations, including WIP reporting, job costing, retainage, and billing processes
- Experience supporting HR operations, employee benefits, and compliance programs
- Experience working directly with business owners or executive leadership
- Experience managing administrative teams
