Construction manager

A well-established, family-owned general contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial projects throughout Ventura County. With more than 30 years in business, this team has built a reputation for quality craftsmanship, strong client relationships, and delivering projects from concept through completion.

This role is ideal for a construction professional who can successfully manage multiple projects, coordinate teams, and ensure exceptional project execution while serving as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, vendors, and project resources
  • Coordinate field teams and ensure projects stay on track
  • Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project scopes
  • Monitor project financial performance and manage change orders
  • Maintain quality control and enforce safety standards
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, designers, consultants, and construction teams
  • Provide leadership and support to project teams throughout all phases of construction

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of construction management experience
  • Experience managing commercial construction, residential construction, remodels, renovations, or design-build projects
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities

  • Residential renovations and additions
