    • Partner with project management, engineering, procurement, operations, and contractors to develop integrated execution plans supporting project safety, cost, schedule, quality, and startup objectives.
    • Provide constructability, sequencing, site logistics, contracting, and execution input during project development and detailed engineering.
    • Review engineering drawings, specifications, scopes of work, construction packages, and schedules to ensure designs are complete, accurate, and constructable.
    • Lead and coordinate construction superintendents, contractors, and field resources across multiple disciplines and work fronts while promoting Georgia-Pacific''s Principle Based Management (PBM) philosophy.
    • Identify and mitigate construction risks that could impact safety, cost, schedule, quality, operations, commissioning, or startup.
    • Oversee critical construction activities, including major equipment installation, heavy lifts and rigging, shutdowns, tie-ins, mechanical completion, commissioning, and startup.
    • Monitor field progress and partner with project controls and project leadership to address schedule risks, cost impacts, productivity challenges, contractor performance, and recovery plans.
    • Lead, coach, and develop construction team members while building organizational capability and driving continuous improvement in large capital project execution.

    Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

    • Five (5) or more years of construction leadership experience supporting large industrial capital projects, including construction and installation of process equipment, infrastructure, or manufacturing systems.
    • Ten (10) or more years of combined experience in industrial construction, project management, engineering, or capital project execution.
    • Experience managing construction activities within operating industrial or manufacturing facilities.
    • Experience coordinating multiple construction disciplines, contractors, and simultaneous work fronts on complex projects.
    • Experience reviewing engineering drawings, construction packages, scopes of work, schedules, and project execution plans.
    • Experience with construction safety, contractor management, constructability reviews, field execution, and project turnover.
    • Willing and able to travel (up to 50%) based on project requirements and work within industrial manufacturing environments, including areas that may be noisy, dusty, non-air-conditioned, or unheated.

    What Will Put You Ahead

    • Fifteen (15) or more years of industrial construction or capital project execution experience.
    • Experience leading construction execution for large-scale, multi-year capital projects involving significant complexity, multiple contractors, and multiple construction disciplines.
