    Job Summary
    The Construction Manager will support substation electrical and utility construction projects for a Fortune 500 energy company serving New England. This role is based onsite in Dorchester, MA and requires extensive experience overseeing complex utility construction activities with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
    The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in substation construction and the ability to lead field execution without the need for clearance or prior holding requirements.
    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide onsite construction management for substation electrical and utility projects.
    • Oversee contractors and field activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
    • Coordinate daily construction activities and resolve field issues efficiently.
    • Ensure work is executed in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
    • Monitor project progress, schedule, and quality performance.
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, engineering teams, and field personnel.
    • Promote a strong culture of safety, reliability, and accountability on site.

    Required Qualifications
    • 10–15 years of experience in substation electrical or utility construction management.
    • Proven experience managing large-scale power or utility infrastructure projects.
    • Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and field execution practices.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
    • Ability to work onsite full time in Dorchester, MA.
