Our organization is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated Construction Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing large-scale construction projects, with a particular emphasis on landfill construction, site reclamation, and environmental remediation. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of project controls, safety leadership, and the power generation industry, including coal and ash power plants.

Responsibilities:

As a Construction Manager, you will be expected to:

1. Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
2. Implement and maintain project controls, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
3. Lead and promote a culture of safety, ensuring that all safety protocols are strictly adhered to and that all staff are trained in safety procedures.
4. Manage the construction of landfill sites and oversee the reclamation of sites, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with environmental regulations and standards.
5. Coordinate and oversee environmental remediation projects, liaising with environmental consultants and regulatory bodies as necessary.
6. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are kept informed of project progress and any issues that arise.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are satisfied with the progress and outcome of projects.
8. Continually review and update project management processes and procedures to ensure that they are effective and efficient.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Construction Manager role, candidates must have:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a particular focus on landfill construction, site reclamation, and environmental remediation.
2. Proven experience in project controls, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
3. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
4. Excellent knowledge of safety protocols and a strong track record of promoting a culture of safety.
5. Experience in the power generation industry, including coal and ash power plants.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
7. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Candidates with additional qualifications or certifications in project management, safety leadership, or environmental remediation will be given preference.
