Job Title: Construction Manager 2
Location: San Antonio , TX
Salary Range: $70/hr to $80/hr on W2
Introduction
The Construction Manager 2 role supports retrofit construction projects in active Datacenters, providing a unique and varied experience. This position involves planning, coordinating, and tracking project execution to ensure adherence to safety, quality, schedule, and cost standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in construction coordination or field engineering.
- Experience with datacenter or industrial/mission-critical projects.
- Foundational knowledge in construction processes, scheduling, cost management, and quality control.
- Proficiency with client tools (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, Teams, OneNote) and PMIS tools such as Procore.
- Prior work experience at a client or in the client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in construction coordination or field engineering.
- Experience with datacenter or industrial/mission-critical projects.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Attend project meetings with contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare project reports.
- Support logistics for active and developing projects.
