Construction Litigation Attorney

Construction Litigation Attorney | 2+ Years Experience

A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney with at least 2 years of litigation experience to join its team. This role involves representing clients in a broad range of construction-related disputes, from pre-litigation counseling through trial.

Responsibilities:

• Represent owners, contractors, subcontractors, developers, and/or design professionals in construction litigation and disputes
• Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and motions
• Handle matters involving construction defects, contract disputes, delay claims, mechanic's liens, and payment disputes
• Take and defend depositions
• Represent clients at mediation, arbitration, and in state and federal court
• Advise clients on construction contract review and risk management

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of litigation experience; construction litigation experience preferred
• Active bar admission to New Hampshire
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience with discovery, motion practice, and court appearances preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload independently in a fast-paced environment
