    Job Title: Construction Litigation Associate Attorney

    Location: Sacramento, CA 95814

    Salary/Payrate: $185,000–$240,000 base, depending on skills and substantive experience, plus potential bonus/incentives.

    Work Environment: Hybrid

    Term: Permanent / Full-Time

    Bachelor’s degree required: Yes – JD and active California Bar license required

    Referral Fee: AMS will pay $1,000 should the person you refer gets hired



    JOB DESCRIPTION

    AMS Staffing is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Associate Attorney for an established and highly regarded construction litigation practice in Sacramento. The attorney will work on significant and complex construction matters throughout California.


    Candidates must have a strong civil litigation background and a minimum of five years of experience practicing as a licensed California attorney, although 10+ years of experience is strongly preferred. Construction litigation experience is highly desirable; however, strong general civil litigators who are interested in moving into construction litigation will also be considered.

    The ideal candidate will have substantial hands-on experience with pleadings, discovery, legal research, and motion practice, along with excellent writing, analytical, interpersonal, and client-service skills. This position is particularly well suited for an experienced litigator looking for sophisticated work within a collaborative environment that also places value on work/life balance.

    The position offers a $185K–$240K base salary, hybrid schedule, bonus/incentive opportunities, profit sharing, professional development, mentoring, and a competitive overall benefits package.
