    Position Summary
    The Construction Landscape Project Manager is responsible for managing the execution of landscape architecture projects from pre-construction through final delivery. This role bridges design and construction by coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with design intent.
    This position plays a key role in translating design plans into high-quality built environments while maintaining strong communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
    Key Responsibilities
    Project & Construction Management
    • Lead landscape construction projects from initial planning through completion
    • Develop scopes of work, budgets, and project timelines
    • Prepare and manage project contracts and subcontractor agreements
    • Track project budgets, billing, and schedules to ensure profitability targets are met
    • Conduct site visits and oversee construction progress, ensuring quality standards are met
    Client & Stakeholder Coordination
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between client, design team, and construction teams.
    • Communicate project updates, schedule changes, and expectations clearly to clients
    • Lead client meetings and internal project coordination meetings
    Team & Vendor Management
    • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and installation crews
    • Create and manage construction schedules and crew assignments
    • Order materials and coordinate delivery logistics
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and suppliers
    Technical Oversight
    • Ensure projects are installed according to approved plans and specifications
    • Provide technical guidance to field teams and resolve construction challenges
    • Review project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet design intent
    Quality, Safety & Compliance
    • Maintain high standards for construction quality and craftsmanship
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures
    • Identify risks and proactively resolve issues on-site
    Qualifications
    Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Science, or related field
    • 3–7+ years of experience in landscape architecture, residential construction, or project management
    • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
    Skills & Competencies
    • Strong project management and organizational abilities
    • Excellent communication and client-facing skills 
    • Problem-solving mindset with ability to adapt in the field
    • Strong collaboration and team leadership abilities
    • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
    Technical Proficiency
    • Working knowledge of CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
    • Experience with scheduling and project management tools preferred
    Work Environment
    • Combination of office, field, and client-facing environments
    • Regular site visits and outdoor work required
    • Ability to manage physically active job sites and varying weather conditions
