About the Role:Seven Lakes Contracting & Asphalt is looking for hardworking and trustworthy Construction Laborers to join our growing team in West End, NC! This is a great opportunity to get your boots on the ground and build a rewarding career in the construction and asphalt industry. Responsibilities:- Assist with asphalt paving, patching, and road construction projects
- Operate hand tools and small power equipment on job sites
- Load, unload, and transport materials and supplies as needed
- Prepare and clean job sites before, during, and after construction activities
- Follow directions from crew leads and site supervisors to meet project deadlines
- Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies
- Support grading, excavation, and general site preparation tasks
Requirements:- Prior construction, asphalt, or general labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work well on a team
- Valid driver's license a plus
- Must be able to pass a background check and/or drug screening if required
