Job Title: Construction Laborer – Underground Utilities (Water & Sewer)

Position Summary
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Construction Laborers to support our underground utility crews installing water, sewer, and storm drain systems. This position plays a critical role in assisting operators and pipe layers to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on, outdoor position ideal for individuals who are motivated, reliable, and eager to grow in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installation of underground water, sewer, and storm drain systems
- Help with trench preparation, bedding, backfilling, and compaction
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Assist pipe layers and equipment operators as directed
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, carrying, and grading
- Use hand tools and small power tools safely and effectively
Qualifications
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- Experience in underground utilities is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in trenches
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
