Construction Laborer – Underground Utilities
A growing company in the Lafayette area is seeking dependable and hardworking Construction Laborers to assist with the maintenance and repair of underground water lines. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on construction experience who are looking for long-term career growth.
This position offers the potential for permanent hire, including pay increases, benefits, and advancement into a Field Technician role.
Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
(Additional hours and overtime may be required based on project needs.)
Responsibilities
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of underground water lines
- Perform general construction labor duties
- Use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Lift and carry materials weighing 50 lbs. or more as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and job site requirements
Qualifications
- Previous construction or related hands-on labor experience required
- Valid driver's license required
- CDL-A license is a plus
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
