Construction Laborer

Restoration Operations

• Perform water, fire, mold, and biohazard mitigation services following IICRC standards.
• Set up containment, drying equipment, air filtration devices, and dehumidification systems.
• Monitor drying progress and adjust equipment as necessary.
• Perform demolition of affected materials when required.
• Complete cleaning, deodorization, smoke removal, and mold remediation procedures.
• Ensure all restoration work meets company quality standards before leaving the job site.

Project Oversight

• Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding project scope, timelines, and customer expectations.
• Identify additional damage or scope changes and communicate them promptly.
• Maintain production schedules to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure projects remain organized, clean, and safe throughout the restoration process.

Customer Service

• Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for customers.
• Explain the restoration process and answer customer questions professionally.
• Provide daily updates on project progress.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism while working with property owners during stressful situations.

Documentation

• Document all work performed using company software (photos, moisture readings, notes, and equipment logs).
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Track equipment placement, monitoring, and removal.
• Ensure job files are complete and ready for Project Manager review.

Equipment & Vehicle Management

• Maintain assigned company vehicle in a clean and professional condition.
• Keep restoration equipment clean, tested, and in proper working order.
• Conduct routine inventory checks and ensure the vehicle is fully stocked.
• Report damaged or missing equipment immediately.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow OSHA, EPA, and IICRC standards and company safety policies.
• Wear and enforce proper PPE usage.
• Identify and mitigate job-site hazards.
• Ensure all crew members operate equipment safely.

Performance Expectations

• Lead by example with professionalism, punctuality, and integrity.
• Produce high-quality work with minimal callbacks.
• Meet production goals while maintaining profitability.
• Maintain excellent communication with customers, office staff, and management.
• Be available for rotating emergency after-hours and weekend on-call schedules.
