Job Description

Construction Commercial Interiors Project Manager - Manhattan, NYC

  • Manage commercial interiors projects from preconstruction through completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, consultants, and ownership teams
  • Oversee procurement, contract administration, and change order management
  • Lead client meetings and provide regular project updates
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve construction, scheduling, and budget challenges
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and NYC building regulations
  • Collaborate closely with field teams to maintain quality standards and project milestones
  • Manage project financials, including forecasting and reporting

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial interiors construction
  • Strong background delivering corporate office fit-outs, tenant improvement, or workplace renovation projects
  • Thorough understanding of scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and construction operations
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of NYC construction practices, regulations, and market conditions
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
