We are currently seeking a Construction Inspector to support major transportation, rail, and infrastructure construction projects in Rocky Hill, CT and surrounding areas.Position OverviewAs a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for performing field inspections on active construction sites to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This role involves site observations, documentation, reporting, and close coordination with project teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform field inspections and assessments of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and public utilitiesInspect construction activities to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, and applicable regulationsDocument inspection findings and prepare accurate, detailed daily and periodic reportsCollaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address field issuesAssist senior inspectors with the review of contractor submittals, materials, and construction methodsParticipate in project meetings and provide updates on inspection activities and findingsMaintain and continuously update knowledge of civil engineering practices, construction standards, and safety requirementsConduct inspections in outdoor environments and varying weather conditionsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in civil engineering and at least one (1) year of field inspection experience; orCMIT Level 3 or NICET Level 2 certification and at least two (2) years of field inspection experienceKnowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and safety regulationsAbility to perform complex quantity and engineering computationsAbility to read and interpret plans and specificationsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with strong report-writing abilityAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentValid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites throughout the region Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per yearMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) Retirement Plan with Company MatchPaid Time Off & Paid HolidaysPerformance-Based BonusesProfessional Development & Licensing Support Equal Opportunity EmployerGarg is an Equal Opportunity Employer: A/A, EOE, M/F, D/V.
