Now hiring for a Construction Helper

Location: Monroe, LA

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Duties

  • Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling
  • Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment

  • Support carpenters, concrete crews, and other skilled trades as needed
  • Clean and prepare job sites by removing debris and maintaining safe work areas
  • Set up and dismantle scaffolding, barricades, and temporary structures
  • Follow all safety policies and wear required PPE
  • Perform additional labor duties to help keep projects on schedule

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

  • Ability to work safely in construction and production environments.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.
  • Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous general labor or construction experience preferred but not required
  • Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Construction Helper.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
