at the center of the job. HRH Search is recruiting a Construction Estimator for residential building work in South Florida.
Your focus
- Translate drawing sets into reliable quantities and practical construction budgets.
- Seek trade pricing, compare what is included and clarify gaps before costs are finalized.
- Work with project managers as plans and pricing develop.
- Build useful subcontractor contacts and keep estimating information organized.
What will help you succeed
- A construction estimating background that includes work in South Florida.
- The ability to interpret plans and complete dependable takeoffs.
- Confidence dealing with subcontractors and evaluating their pricing.
Residential or multifamily estimating experience is particularly relevant. Spanish is useful; candidates do not need to be
bilingual for this opening.

• Build and maintain useful subcontractor contacts and keep estimating records organized.
Qualifications
• Construction estimating experience in the South Florida market.
• Ability to read plans and complete accurate quantity takeoffs.
• Experience working with subcontractors and evaluating trade pricing.
• Residential or multifamily experience is particularly relevant. Spanish is preferred, not required.
