Commercial General Contractor Estimator
Our client is a well-established Commercial General Contractor specializing in commercial interiors, institutional, and public construction projects across NYC. Job Description
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial interiors and public construction projects. Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop detailed takeoffs. Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing. Assist with budgeting, value engineering, and conceptual estimating. Coordinate with project management, operations, and preconstruction teams. Identify project risks, scope gaps, and cost-saving opportunities. Participate in bid submissions, negotiations, and project handovers.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Estimator should have: 3+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor. Experience estimating commercial interiors, public, institutional, or government projects. Strong understanding of construction means, methods, materials, and pricing. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Experience with estimating software, Bluebeam, OST, Procore, or similar platforms. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team.
