Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a Columbus, Ohio area client to help them search and qualify candidates for their Estimator position. Primary responsibilities of the job include:
· Seeking Estimator experience with municipal, public works, and commercial experience
· Take off and hard bid experience
· Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop complete quantity takeoffs and pricing
· Pre-bid meeting, site visits and estimate reviews
· Must have experience with projects from $5 - $20 million in size
· Must have at least 5 years’ experience
A successful candidate will possess the following:
· A 4 year degree in Construction Management or related field experience
· Direct experience in preferred fields
· Previous experience estimating projects up to $20 million
· Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
· Understanding of shop drawings and estimating softwares
· Ability to determine production rates, staffing, costs and risks
Salary Range: $100-120K
