Description

Role Definition:

The Construction Coordinator's primary role is to provide support to the Construction

Management Team. Must be highly organized with a familiarity in the construction of

cooling towers and/or the construction industry. The role encompasses a wide variety of

project tasks and responsibilities supporting multiple construction managers. This

position is the coordination hub for the department in managing multiple project

deadlines and priority tasks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate directly with Construction Managers to provide overall general

support.

  1. Manage, track & summarize project documents, to include the following:

a. Daily Reports

b. Manhour/Daily/Payroll Reports (MDP)

c. Close out Documents

d. Shipping reports

  1. Contact Equipment vendors to get equipment rates and setup accounts as

needed.

  1. Upload completed MDP reports to database.

  2. Act as Job Specific Construction Coordinator on projects with a member of the

Executive Management Group acting as Construction Manager. Responsibilities

include:

a. Write Execution Plans as outlined by the Construction Manager.

b. Develop & distribute MDP reports.

c. Assist the Construction Manager with job specific Administrative Tasks.

  1. Equipment tracking (Radios, Laptops/ Phones, Vans, Air Monitors, etc.)

  2. Update & maintain Labor Force database

  3. Update & maintain Equipment Rental database.

  4. Maintain & distribute daily Action Item list for the Construction department.

  5. Track and Record hours worked each day per project.

  6. Facilitate Logistics for field personnel when needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

(Education, Experience, Skills required to qualify for this position)

  1. High school diploma and 5 years of construction experience.

a. Experience can be substituted for a higher education.

  1. Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  2. Ability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours per week) Monday - Friday

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Edwardsville, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
