A succesful electrical company based out of St. Augustine is actively searching for a Construction Controller to join their team. This company specializes in new construction as well servicing large commercial buildings such as apartments, hotels, and office buildings throughout the area.

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Controller with construction industry experience to join our growth oriented company who shares our philosophy of running an electric al business with a primary focus on the safety and welfare of our employees.

• Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures for all construction projects
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for each project, including budget vs actual analysis and cash flow projections
• Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS
• Coordinate with project managers to review project budgets and ensure cost control measures are in place
• Monitor project expenses and report any variances to senior management
• Work closely with the project team to identify and manage project risks
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks and other financial institutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction accounting and financial management
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
• Experience with project management and cost control
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
