    The Construction Contracts Administrator supports the Purchasing Manager in ensuring contract compliance for local, state, and privately funded projects throughout North Carolina and South Carolina.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Fundamental knowledge of construction techniques, materials, standards, and equipment
    • Ability to draft, review, and issue subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders; redline documents in Adobe Acrobat; and route documents for execution through DocuSign
    • Ability to review owner contracts and flag risks for the Purchasing Manager, including indemnity, pay-if-paid and pay-when-paid provisions, retainage, liquidated damages, insurance, and flow-down requirements
    • Ability to maintain current flow-down requirements in subcontracts, including NCDOT, SCDOT, and federal-aid provisions
    • Knowledge of North Carolina and South Carolina lien laws, including notices, lien agent filings, and payment-related lien waivers
    • Ability to enter and maintain subcontracts and purchase orders in ProjectSight
    • Ability to keep contract files organized, current, and audit-ready
    • Familiarity with NCDOT and SCDOT requirements
    • Proficiency with common office applications, including Adobe Acrobat and DocuSign
    • Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • NC Notary preferred
