Description
A growing residential and commercial construction company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in remodeling and new construction projects, with a strong understanding of all phases of construction from framing to finish work. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and works well independently and as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities
General jobsite construction including:
- Framing and finish carpentry
- Tile installation
- Drywall installation and repair
- Roofing and gutters
- Concrete work
- Painting
- Mill work and cabinetry
- Flooring installation
- Siding
- Grading and site preparation
- Interior and exterior trim work
*** Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems is highly preferred.
Qualifications
- Residential and commercial remodeling: 10+ years
- Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Experience with project estimating and material takeoffs.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Must provide and maintain personal hand and power tools required for the job.
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.
- Professional references required.
