    Description

    We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Administrator that has a strong background with Hospitality projects. Qualified candidates shall be self-motivated and possess a high level of technical skill and construction experience with strong communication skills who can work in an A/E office environment with cross coordination between all internal disciplines (Architectural, Civil, Structural, MEP, Interior Design) and also travel to jobsites for periodic inspections and attending/running OAC meetings.

    Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for efficiently managing the Construction Administration phase of all designed projects from notice to proceed and all phases of construction up to Owner turn-over and closeout and address any issues post-occupancy.
    • Respond to RFI’s in a timely manner.
    • Manage shop drawing reviews for all design team members.
    • Manage all change order requests.
    • Conduct monthly OAC meetings.
    • Perform periodic jobsite inspections and issuance of Field Reports.

    Skill sets:
    • Excellent communication skills with Contractors, Owners, Designers, Franchisors, and
    Jurisdictions.
    • Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, and self-motivated to produce high quality work.
    • Must be able to manage time and stay on task with multiple projects.
    • Must be able to work with contractors and remain level-headed in all atmospheres.
    • Be proficient in MS Word and Excel and have knowledge in construction management software systems.
    • Have a basic understanding of building codes and ADA requirements.
    • Monitor project information flow during construction administration.
    • Manage change order requests and provide initial decision on time and money requests.
    • Have a working knowledge of various Construction Management software systems.

    Required:
    • 10 plus years of experience in Construction Administration
    • Experience with Construction Administration for Hospitality Projects
    Preferred:
    • Architectural Degree
    • Autocad and Revit Experience Highly Preferred.
