Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Operations Support Manager, the Configuration Control Coordinator performs general duties pertaining to configuration control. This employee is responsible for tracking and releasing engineering and manufacturing documents and maintaining those files.
Job Functions:
Essential:
- Inputs, tracks, and releases Manufacturing files and documents into the company database, both electronic and hard copies.
- Will assist with engineering files and documents in the engineering database, both electronic and hard copies.
- Releases and finalizes manufacturing documents such as planning, manufacturing assemblies, bill of materials, and master build records.
- Maintains data files for on-line viewing.
- Acts as a liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing departments.
- Troubleshoots configuration control issues and oversees the resolution of the issue.
- Analyzes data for retention/disposition, retrieval, verification, storage, and process/procedure development.
- Reviews manufacturing and engineering documents to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies.
- Approves, verifies, schedules, and implements Change Control Board processes and documents.
- Routes, verifies and archives First Article documents.
- Creates, maintains and administers databases, storage and company forms.
- Assists the operations team with scheduling and maintaining daily process flows.
- Creates and releases Sales Order and Work Order paperwork as needed.

- Performs other duties as deemed necessary or as required.
