    Configuration Management Engineer (CME) / Build Engineer
     
    Duties:
    Responsible for software builds and releases.
    Responsible for the design and development of builds, scripts, installation procedures, and systems including source code control and issue tracking.
    Works closely with a quality assurance team to ensure final version is up to organizational standards.
     
    Education/Experience:
    Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and 3-5 years of experience in the field.
    Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
    Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
     
     
    May lead and direct the work of others.
    Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.
     
     
    Summary of role/responsibilities:
    1. Expert in Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
      1. Branch management
      2. Merging code
      3. Release management
      4. Build automation
        1. Experience building automation from scratch
        2. Deployment automation
        3. Experience with MSBuild/TeamBuild
        4. Extremely strong scripting skills – Perl, Powershell
        5. General understanding of code - .net, sql
