As a Configuration Consultant, you will update and maintain the online benefits enrollment and benefits administration (eEnrollment) platform to conform to client-specific requirements for our existing clients. These modifications are made annually for Open Enrollment and also occur as changes to benefit plans or structure take place. Our clients and internal teams will look to you as an expert for eEnrollment configuration and best practices. You'll ensure the overall quality of the software configuration as well as provide input on the application design, development, testing, and deployment to meet the client s business requirements and satisfaction.
The Configuration Consultant will work with Customer Support Management, Operations Management, Import Services, and Data Analysts to make the Open Enrollment experience as seamless as possible. The Configuration Support Consultant will also work with other teams internally to assist in writing application requirements, manage map development and to perform client testing.
Configuration requirements for each clients renewal, or off-cycle change, is sent to the Configuration Support Consultant who will update our platform and perform a series of tests while working with Customer Support Specialists, Carrier Representatives, and HR Administrators to ensure the final results match their requirements. Configuration projects typically take 1 day to 2 weeks to complete while working with multiple clients at a time. Milestone tracking in a customer record management tool is required to maintain up to date metrics delivered internally and/or to Carrier Representatives.
