CONDUCTOR QUOTATION SPECIALIST
LOCATION
Dallas, TX | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $20/hour
• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
ROLE IMPACT
Support the growth of the wire and conductor business by delivering accurate quotations, reviewing customer orders, and coordinating conductor requirements across customers, branches, fulfillment centers, shipping, and internal teams. Success requires strong electrical conductor knowledge, attention to wire specifications, and the ability to resolve order issues quickly in a fast-paced environment.
KEY DUTIES
• Prepare and manage electrical conductor and wire quotations based on customer and branch requirements.
• Review customer orders and wire specifications for accuracy, identify issues, and coordinate necessary changes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for electrical conductors, wire products, and value-added wire services, including parallel cuts, compartmentalized reels, and pulling heads.
• Coordinate customer needs, dedicated shipments, and Wire Service issues across branches, fulfillment centers, Shipping & Logistics, and internal departments.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining professional communication with customers, coworkers, and leadership.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of electrical distribution and/or electrical conductor application experience required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical conductors, wire products, wire specifications, and value-added wire services.
• Ability to read and interpret customer orders, identify problems, and coordinate solutions across multiple departments.
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Primarily operates within an office environment using computers, phones, and standard office equipment.
• May require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work full-time and overtime when required.
• Overnight travel is less than 10%.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other company digital tools.
• Ability to work effectively with customers, field teams, branch personnel, and internal departments.
