Inspect equipment and ensure compliance with operating rules and FRA regulations. Couple and uncouple railcars, line switches, and perform switching operations. Communicate effectively with train crews, dispatchers, and customers. Operate locomotives safely and efficiently. Conduct routine locomotive servicing and inspections. Read and follow train orders, bulletins, and work instructions. Maintain a constant focus on safety, teamwork, and operational excellence. |
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
At least 18 years old. Valid Driver's License. Strong work ethic and commitment to safety. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. | Ability to perform physically demanding work, including walking uneven terrain, climbing equipment, and lifting up to 80 pounds. Railroad, industrial, military, construction, transportation, or mechanical experience is a plus. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments. |
