PJQ Concrete is looking for a dependable, experienced Concrete Worker / Crew Driver to join our team. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, reliable, works well with a crew, and has hands-on concrete or construction experience.
This position will also be responsible for driving a company vehicle and transporting crew members to and from job sites, so a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive a company vehicle and transport crew members to and from job sites
- Concrete demolition and removal
- Prepare job sites for concrete installation
- Set forms and prepare areas for concrete pours
- Place and install concrete
- Concrete finishing
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Job-site cleanup
- Perform other concrete and construction duties as needed
Experience with concrete finishing, forming, grading, demolition, saw cutting, skid steer/equipment operation, or similar concrete work is a plus.
SCHEDULE & TRAVEL
- Full-time position
- Monday–Friday
- Some Saturdays as needed
- Must be dependable and able to report to work on time
- Work is performed at various job sites throughout Central Florida
- Occasional travel to job sites outside the immediate area is required, typically within a few hours of Central Florida
- Some out-of-town projects may require occasional overnight stays
- Must be willing and able to travel with the crew when needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver’s license REQUIRED
- Acceptable driving record and ability to drive a company vehicle
- Previous concrete or construction experience
- Reliable transportation to the designated meeting/work location
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Able to perform physical construction work, including lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors
- Dependable, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a crew
- Willing and able to work occasional Saturdays and travel when required
PAY
