Responsibilities Safely operate diesel-powered flat saws, wall saws, and core drills to cut concrete and asphalt, create control joints, cut trenches, and assist with demolition projects. The ideal candidate will have experience operating diesel-powered concrete cutting equipment in a construction environment while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality workmanship. 
Responsibilities

• Safely operate diesel-powered flat saws, wall saws, and core drills to cut concrete and asphalt, create control joints, cut trenches, and assist with demolition projects.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and site plans to determine cutting specifications.
• Measure surfaces and mark precise cutting lines to ensure accuracy.
• Set up and maintain water hoses and dust suppression systems to control hazardous silica dust.
• Perform daily equipment inspections, including checking belts, fluids, filters, and overall equipment condition.
• Install, replace, and maintain diamond blades as needed.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and report major equipment concerns.
• Assist with breaking apart and removing cut concrete or asphalt using jackhammers, pry bars, skid steers, and other tools.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Wear and maintain proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while working around noise, dust, slurry, and equipment fumes.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience operating diesel-powered concrete cutting equipment required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and measurements.
• Knowledge of concrete cutting, demolition, and construction site safety practices.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull construction materials and equipment.
• OSHA 10 Certification is a plus.
• Must have a valid Driver's License or State ID.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work overtime.

Shifts:

• Monday-Friday 10 hour shifts
• Saturday 8 hour shifts
