Tradesmen International is immediately hiring motivated Construction Laborers for projects located in or around Traverse City, MI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $23/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a General Laborer eager to grow and learn in the trades alongside the best Craft Professionals in the industry, this is your chance to launch your career!
Job Scope:
- Assist concrete workers with site preparation and layout
- Build, set, and remove concrete forms
- Tie rebar and install wire mesh reinforcement
- Assist with pouring and finishing concrete walls and structures
- Repair, remove, and replace existing concrete as needed
- Load, unload, and move construction materials throughout the job site
- Perform general labor duties as directed by supervisors
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Follow all job site safety procedures and PPE requirements
Requirements:
- Previous construction or concrete labor experience preferred
- Experience with form building, rebar installation, or concrete work is a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials safely
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
