Job Summary
Exegistics is hiring Concrete Laborers for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a precast concrete manufacturing facility located on the east side of Indianapolis.
This is a full-time, year-round position in a hands-on production environment. The Concrete Laborer will assist with setting up forms, preparing materials, and pouring concrete. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically demanding industrial environment and working in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
Assist with setting up forms for precast concrete production
Help prepare and pour concrete into forms
Place steel plates, assemblies, wire mesh, and other materials as needed
Rake, trowel, and finish wet concrete
Pull steel cable and assist with other production tasks
Work around large concrete panels and heavy materials
Use basic math and tape measure skills accurately
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Follow all safety policies and production procedures
Requirements
Must be able to lift and carry 50100 lbs.
Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours per day
Must have steel-toed boots
Ability to bend, stretch, and work over forms throughout the shift
Must be comfortable working around large concrete materials and equipment
Basic math skills required
Must be able to read and use a tape measure effectively
Mechanical or maintenance background preferred, but not required
Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
Some weekend work may be required
