Job Description

This role involves performing physically demanding general labor and production tasks in a heavy manufacturing environment focused on concrete and precast construction components. You will work with hand and power tools, assist with concrete pouring and stripping, and support various crews to ensure efficient and safe production. The position requires flexibility with varying start times, overtime, and working in both indoor plant and outdoor yard conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleanup in production areas, including sweeping and maintaining a safe and organized work space.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and tools to support efficient manufacturing operations.
• Assist with placing strand and other materials used in precast concrete construction components.
• Lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Assist with placing and finishing concrete, including cement pouring and stripping tasks as needed.
• Support the manufacturing of large precast construction components by performing additional functions as required.
• Label, organize, and monitor equipment and tools to ensure proper use and availability.
• Help other crews and team members as needed to meet production goals and schedules.

Essential Skills

• Production or heavy manufacturing experience, preferably 02 years in a manufacturing or production setting.
• General laborer or construction experience, including familiarity with physically demanding work.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Comfort with physical tasks such as cement pouring, stripping, lifting, bending, and twisting for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding work for up to 12-hour shifts.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime, typically 4560 hours per week, including 56 days per week as needed.
• Flexibility to work varying start times and different shifts, including general labor shifts and pour crew shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cressona, PA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cressona, PA.

This position is anticipated to close on Nov 3, 2026.
