Concrete Formwork and Placement Technician

Based in North Charleston, SC 29405, this hands-on role is ideal for someone who likes seeing tangible results at the end of the day. You’ll help build durable concrete structures alongside a safety-first crew that values quality craftsmanship and teamwork.

A day in the life

• Stage materials and assist with surface prep to get sites ready for concrete placement.
• Assemble and remove forms and scaffolding to support each pour.
• Mix and place concrete per project specifications and directions from the supervisor.
• Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
• Coordinate closely with crew members to hit schedule and quality targets.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic care on tools and equipment.
• Flag issues, hazards, or material needs to the supervisor as soon as they arise.

What you bring

• Background in concrete or general construction preferred (we’re ready to train the right person).
• Comfort lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Working knowledge of fundamental construction safety practices.
• Sharp attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions closely.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new techniques and take on fresh challenges.
• High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
